Perhaps Chelsea were expected to win, but to holistically shatter the Anfield boys with a comprehensive 4-1 triumph like this was never the rules. For the Reds, this defeat could amount to a demoralizing dent in their league ambitions. For the Blues, this victory only highlights their omnipotence and insatiable lust for more trophies to vindicate themselves of a barren, meaningless existence of 50 years. Well done, Chelsea!
