Since Wilz blocked my comments in his blog, i posted here instead.I thought Wilz said he welcomes any comments about him and his blog yet he blocked my comments in my response to you.

Allow me to ask you a question:
1. Please count how many testimonies did Wils mentioned in his blog?
2. Then pls go the entries in October or November to see the keyword of rich in his blog.
3. Please read what the bible says about the poor woman sacrificing 2 cents to God and what jesus said of riches?
4. Finally you ask Wilz a question the way you phrase ur question about his opinion of rich and what makes the one rich when the one gives up...

Besides, you notice that wilz's flobberchat is down when in fact, I suspect he removes it deliberately...how come i notice it is active in other blogs?

The answer is in Matthew 19:16-30, which illustrates that a person has to give up his/her all in order to follow Him.

However, the phrase "give up" here simply means to surrender what one typically perceives as important/valuable to his/her life. This includes the measure of self-worth, pride over possessions, intellect, etc. It does not literally mean to abandon all of one's possessions.

Remember that it is God who blesses man with possessions in order for him/her to use them wisely to serve others and bring glory to His Kingdom.

hmm...why didn't wilz give up his dear thing, ie: career, savings..etc to God since he wrote his own words in his blog?

Because career is required to accumulate the savings, which, in turn, sustain his life.

In the case of the rich young man, he had, presumably, the keys to most of life's luxuries. When Jesus asked him to surrender his possessions, He meant to have the young man do a heart-check on his own priorities. The young man failed, because his primary priority was still his wealth and possessions.

Hmm...what about George Muller? He gave up his all to God. Ur explanation don't sound convincing. Jesus meant it plainly. He is creator of miracles!

maybe you could twist the bible to suit yourself? I'm not sure?

I got what u mean. I think you are right that the man lack his faith in God, which is why he was unable to let go of all his wealth.

I thought you meant that the young man is able to keep all his wealth as long as Jesus is his first priority.

What did you think of the couple caught in sedition acts for showing the muslim woman with the evangelistic tract about Allah?

Care to tell me - Acts 5:29?

Bernard, well, Wilz has numerous testimonies to speak of. But he hestiated to give up when God beckoned him to follow Him.

In fact, I expected to hear a certain reply from Wilz when i asked him a question. I was really surprised and confounded by his reply. I expected him to say, "I have faith in God because I know God never fail me and look at my testimonies". But he didn't.

Matthew 19:16-30 - see the keyword - "sell that you have and give to the poor, and ......follow me."
Another keyword - "forsake all" in v.27. Jesus meant it plainly.

Please read Wilz's words in his blog.

Kindly explain to me what u meant of heart-check?

George Mueller sold all things that he ad and give to the poor and depend on His sovereign God for everything. He had no savings except God.

annonymous,

you are not sincere in asking your questions thats why people have to remove you from their blogs.

you will do the same if you are them to people who take advantage of kind people to post nonsense on their blogs and expect them to keep replying one hundred and one nonsense posts.

are you taking advantage of them because they are kind and trying to follow jesus? they are imperfect. ask youself if you will do the same thing to people who are not that kind to you? do you dare to do that to other people?
