Meeting with Adele & Chang Shiung

Last night, June and I had the honour to meet Chang Shiung, a boy genius from Malaysia who is currently serving in Hope Singapore. The amazing stuff is that this guy is working in the position that I had vacated when I left MAS, and we have a common friend - Kenshin Goh, another IT hotshot, who also knows Irving Kwok, Guangrong and Shimin!

I had chatted with Chang Shiung several times over MSN, thanks to Kenshin's introduction. Prior to this, I was already aware of the issues that Adele (a sister in NG6B2) had with him. As she had insisted on meeting Chang Shiung to attempt to resolve some outstanding issues between the both of them, June and I decided to help facilitate the discussion.

Thank God, the meetup went pretty well. We had a good time over drinks at C NAI Hong Kong Cafe at East Coast Park. Before the negotiations began, Chang Shiung took the initiative to pray for God to lead the negotiation and for protection for everyone involved in the meeting. The meeting lasted about 3 hours, and by the time everything was thrashed out, it was already 2.00am. The entire setting was amicable, with general restraint between both parties and mutual understanding achieved.

It's really amazing the manner in which the Lord has delivered breakthroughs to each of us in our ordinary lives, in every aspect. After all, we are all members of the same body of Christ. I even helped to close the discussion in prayer, following which Chang Shiung took a cab home. I then sent Adele and June home, exhausted but fruitful.
